FY27 Budget Survey
Help Shape Salt Lake City’s FY27 Budget
Each year, Salt Lake City develops a budget that determines how funding is allocated for services across the city. As the City Council reviews the Mayor’s proposed FY27 (Fiscal Year 2026-2027) budget, we invite you to share your input.
Whether you live, work, attend school, own a business, or spend time in Salt Lake City, your perspective helps shape Council discussions and decisions.
This short survey asks about your priorities, how you prefer to receive information, and the issues you think the City should focus on. Your feedback will help ensure the FY27 budget reflects the needs and perspectives of our community.

How Salt Lake City’s Budget Process Works:
Each year, Salt Lake City develops an annual budget that funds the services and programs residents rely on every day. The process begins when the Mayor presents a proposed budget to the City Council in the spring.
After the proposal is released, the City Council reviews the plan, holds public discussions, and gathers input from community members before making final decisions.
