337 Pocket Park
Formerly a community garden, this vacant lot is a rare opportunity to add public green space within the downtown neighborhood.
The lot at 337 South 400 East has been left vacant for years as high density developments grow around it. In 2007, this site was home to an interactive art installation known as The 337 Project - a two story building taken over by artists, showcasing the city’s emerging art scene. When the building was torn down, the site became home to a large community garden. But, new buildings to the south blocked the sun and the site was no longer suitable as a garden. All that is left on site is a decorative entryway honoring the collection of artists that were a part of The 337 Project. The goal of this project is to preserve the original entryway while creating a space that the community can use throughout the year.

Please take the time to share you thoughts and ideas with us. Our goal is to understand the community's needs, concerns, and usage of this space so that we can design something that fits the neighborhood. This survey will be open for one month, please share this with anyone who might be interested. At the end of the survey period, we will share the findings and how we expect them to impact the design of the site.
